Sweet 'n Salty Maple Bits 'n' Bites

Ingredients
  • 250 ml (1 cup) Shreddies cereal
  • 250 ml (1 cup) small salty pretzels
  • 250 ml (1 cup) roasted green peas
  • 250 ml (1 cup) roasted chick peas
  • 250 ml (1 cup) toasted soybeans
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) toasted whole
       almonds, unsalted
  • 250 ml (1 cup) "natural" popcorn
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoons) smoked paprika
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) chipotle chilli powder
  • Cajun spices, to taste
  • 3 ml (1/2 teaspoon) salt
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple sugar

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 °F). In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except oil and maple sugar. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture, sprinkle with maple sugar and mix well. Put in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring half-way through. Leave to cool before serving. Store in an airtight container.
