- 1 cup of maple syrup
- Grease the top 1 centimeter of the inside of an 8-cup bowl (to ensure that the syrup does not spill out)
- Pour in 1 cup of maple syrup.
- Cook in the microwave for 7 minutes (cooking time may vary depending on microwave). The syrup is ready when a small drop of it forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water.
- Pour the hot syrup on snow or into a container and refrigerate.
