Maple base dressing

Ingredients
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Dijon mustard
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) wine vinegar or lemon juice
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) chives or fresh herbs (optional)
Method
  1. In a bowl, combine 30 ml (2 tbsp) Dijon mustard and 30 ml (2 tbsp) wine vinegar or lemon juice.
  2. Season to taste. Using a fork, whip the dressing while adding 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil and 15 ml (1 tbsp) maple syrup.
  3. Adjust seasoning and add 30 ml (2 tbsp) chives or fresh herbs (optional).
